Meet Lindsay.

Lindsay is a wife and mom of three.
She enjoys baking, hiking, camping, and just being outdoors with her family.
Lindsay discovered babywearing when her first child was a baby, as a means to take her family places that a stroller would never go. As a result, she became active on the babywearing community and met a wonderful group of supportive friends. When it comes to woven wraps, she enjoys comparing different weaves and fibers and trying out new wraps.
Here, Lindsay got to play with DIDYMOS LEO Night Blue.

First Impressions. Lindsay says…

Night blue and natural together make this wrap read very navy/beige. My first impression before even washing was “Wow! Texture!”. I wasn’t expecting that from just looking at the photos. I assumed this wrap would be flat and soft. While it is soft and mouldable (and getting much softer as it breaks in), this weave gives it a lot of texture and grip when wrapping. Grip balanced with softness (sometimes referred to in the wrapping world as “grip to glide ratio”) is great for carries like the Double Hammock back carry because it allows the sling passes to glide into place easily while tightening, and to grip nicely in place when tying off. I was not at all surprised to find that this wrap is an awesome double hammock wrap.

When I first try out a wrap, I test out how it does in a single-layer ruck. Leo Night Blue was very comfortable with both my 6-month-old and 3-year-old in this carry. My ruck stayed in place and was very supportive and comfortable on my shoulders.
Conclusions
Overall, this wrap makes a great Double Hammock which is a fabulous back carry. It is very supportive and easy to wrap despite the heavier weight of the fabric. It is supportive without feeling heavy in hand. The DIDYMOS LEO Night Blue is thicker than the original black version and would make a great choice for a bigger baby.

Recommendations
Over time, I guarantee that the Leo Night Blue 100% Organic Cotton will soften up amazingly and break-in beautifully. If this design and colour combination appeals, I would definitely recommend this wrap for everyday wear! It is a way of making you feel kind of fancy, even when dressed down.

Babywearing days are short so try new wraps! Different fibers and weaves really do make a difference. What works for one person might not work for another. It’s worth it to find your “perfect” wrap! And if looking for rings for some fancy finishes, doesn’t the Night Blue look amazing with the shiny gold rings?
