*Presenting the Didymos Meh-Dai (DidyTai)*

The Didymos Meh-Dai style carrier is an easy-to-use baby carrier made from a rectangular piece of woven wrap fabric with four straps sewn to its corners. It has no buckles, snaps or Velcro fasteners, so nothing to wear out, and nothing to scratch or wake baby when adjusting. The top straps are wide and gathered which cradle the wearer’s shoulders, distributing baby’s weight evenly. The bottom straps tie around the waist and provide additional support.
The Didymos Meh-Dai has a drawstring which adjusts the width/seat of the carrier, making the carrier fully adjustable for newborn babies to toddler age (around 35 lbs/16 Kg). This creates an optimal and ergonomic position for the baby, being held in the spread-squat-position which minimises stress or pressure on developing hip joints. The DidyTai is made from the same fabrics as the Didymos woven wraps which stretch diagonally ensuring high comfort and support. All raw materials come from controlled biological cultivation and spinning and dying is done in certified companies only. The fabric is not treated chemically either before or after manufacture. The DidyTai is sewn in a local tailor shop in Ludwigsburg, Germany.

Didymos Meh-Dai Features
The drawstring for tightening the head support is pulled through one of the two loops to the desired height. The stoppers can be turned and pushed through the loops making it easier to thread and unthread the drawstring.
The loops can also be found on the inside meaning the Didymos Mei Tai can be reversed. This is great for patterned fabrics that have different colours on each side. The height of the head support can be infinitely adjusted with the drawstring.
One end of the drawstring is sewn in meaning the stopper can be tightened using just one hand. Didymos designed the back of the carrier so that it moulds perfectly to the back of the child. Use the drawstring to adjust the bottom width that fits your child best.
- For newborns, the carrier can be worn “apron style” with the hood rolled down and the seat fully cinched, for a perfect fit for small babies.
- As baby grows, the seat is widened and and the waist tied to maximise the panel height.
- Eventually, the hood can be used as an extension of the body panel to fit babies up to two and even three years of age!
